Finally done! It's been 4 years since I wrote notes on this idea. I was surprised how fresh the picture still was in my mind. It took about 3 weeks to complete it due to work and transfering the file from work to home and back again on the thumb drive. On the top of it all, I was getting used to Mac, which only added more headeache.
Anyways, I have used many references here. I modeled for the girl and fauns were referenced from few pictures of children playing.

Tea Time was a hard labor. It took many hours due to the amount of details involved. It was a time after I discovered Gradient Mesh and had to explore it to see the full potential. This illustration was based on the pencil sketch I've done some years back. I had to use reference for the lighting and reflections...

Over 40 layers it was a combination of gradient mesh, brushes and blends. Took long time but it was worth every minute.

One of my older images, I did last year.
I know, I know, the title is not the most original , so shoot me!
It was one of those things stuck in my head and wouldn't let go.

Let's see if I can place some close ups here... Hopefully it will work as I haven't yet figured out how to include them.

Mirrors Of Twilight

The image portaits a flower Nymph coming out of it and discovering the rain for the first time.
“The rain. What a peculiar phenomenon. It glistens at the remaining sparks of twilight. All those little mirrors that bear ones reflection, could they be touched?”

Comments and critiques would be greatly appreciated.
